Description
This is an historically important document handwritten on three sides of A3 size watermarked paper. It is a bond between Thomas Fenton and Hugh Williamson, and is dated 4th November 1843 for £1,946, which is almost £200,000 in today's money. Importatantly is mentions Josiah Spode II who had died in 1827, and is gives the location details of Spode's properties in the Stoke on Trent area.
