A late 19th early 20th Century Cranberry Leather Jewellery Box with Bramah Lock and Original working Key
A good practical size having one lift out tray divided into numerous compartments, removing to provide a larger storage area below.
Lined in cranberry silk and velvet.
The tray still with the original lush velvet, which despite age and use is in very good clean condition.
Nickel Plated fittings that look very smart and complement the colour of the leather.
Attractive inset rise and fall handle to the lid.
Bramah lock with original key that works well with a good solid sound when locking.
The overall condition is Very Good.
Internally and externally this lovely Jewellery Box shows light wear, but overall less than would be expected for a used item of this age.
