A fine quality 19th Century burr walnut writing box or lap desk with brass strapping and Jasperware porcelain roundels.
Excellent quality interior with chased hinges and a secret compartment.
Unrestored, but in good order, with some age wear, chips to corners, one piece of metalware missing and no key.
