Description
Fully refurbished mid-century brass bound military campaign style multi drawer sectional secretaire chest. Constructed in oak with superb yew wood veneers the chest separates into 2 sections with brass carry handles to the sides of each section.
The top section has a cross banded top with a boxwood strung border and a central vacant brass
cartouche. The top draw pulls out and drops down to reveal a fully fitted secretaire interior featuring 4 drawers with pigeon holes above and a inset gilt embossed tooled green leather writing surface plus a further 5 oak lined drawers with cross banded and box wood strung yew wood fronts.
The bottom section has a further 2 large oak lined drawers with yew wood cross banded and box wood strung fronts.
Presented in fully refurbished condition and constructed using quality Yew wood veneers; finished with traditional shellac polish, all fittings and handles are original unfortunately there is no key for the locks.
