Description
An Antique 19th Century Sevres Porcelain Dinner Plate. Ordered by King Louis Philippe for the Chateau Fontainbleau Hunting Service. The Chateau Being a Royal Hunting Lodge. Louis Philippe Was a Great Patron of Sevres, and He Ordered This Service in 1836 Through to 1847, This Plate is Dated 1846.
It is a Beautifully Made and Decorated Plate, Richly Gilt Border and Central Decoration. The Border Painted with Hunting Animals, Bird and Dogs. Colourful Foliage and Flowers and Lozenges with the Kings Initials. The Back of the Plate is Fully Marked and Dated.
